This Modern Home Design Project called “Joys and sorrows of the garden house” was designed by NRM-Architects Office, located in Hyougo, Japan. The house is designed for residential as well as the workplace. The house and office are two separate independent entities however have a seamless relationship. There are two entrances to the building, including a three car garage and a carriage porch to receive visitors. According to the architects the design of these elements stemmed from what the site demanded.

This Modern Home Design is located on a site that is shaped like a flag with only a few sections that relate directly to the rough road that curved along waterways such as rivers. Wedged between the canal south when the water is nearly at the same level of the site and surrounding land, tall trees that block the eyes prickled at landadjacent as high as 10M, so it is not visible from the street. Like the other buildings, this house was designed in order to blend with the surrounding environment best as possible and become the backbone of the architecture by interacting with the site. The main structural material for this two-story home and office space is reinforced concrete.

The architecture of this Modern Home Design trying to configure the inner space by inserting background scenery surrounding environment is only released to the south. Through dialogue and interaction with the site, such as land use changed without petals and a good environment produce interaction that feels familiar with the site, water, green lawn and the wind.
